Madan Meena is not only a successful artist, but also a skilled curator; he pays particular attention to Rajasthan’s socio-political and cultural issues. His research deals with his people’s costumes history and particularly with the use of languages preserved in the course of time. He wrote many books about these topics too. On the other hand, his actual artistic production is characterised by refined, almost minimal, works that clearly clash with Indian traditional painting. Meena also makes really interesting videos in which the moving images looks like the ones in a kaleidoscope.
